Should vegans have empathy for animal farmers?

In this episode I consider my own changing perspective on whether farmers are to blame for the issues of animal agriculture. I am still working through all my own thoughts but I do draw on some pretty certain conclusions - I don't think farmers should hold all the blame. What do you think?
